<description>Lua, I think you misunderstood me there. What I was trying to say was people keep on complaining but they don't want to join in lobbying for important issues in Congress or even joining protest rallies. So maybe it's really a special calling because not all Filipinos are brave enough to do such things. :-)

<description>Hey Margi, that's unfair. Sure, do join the bandwagon of people blaming GMA for everything.
To Iona, I'm praying that this bill be passed and implemented because it's really infuriating to know that meds in the phils is 5x costlier than in india. That orgs have to import cancer meds from india so indigent cancer patients can have a chance to live. It's sad. I have a lot of medrep friends, but I do believe their services jack up the price as well, that's why I don't buy branded meds. I opt to buy the generic. I don't care. It works the same.

<description>People like me appreciate what you guys are doing - by becoming the voice of the Filipino people. I just consider it your own calling because not all Filipinos will dare do what you do. But we complain a lot. Although GMA and her allies think that all activists opposing them are front of NPAs. Hahaha...naghahanap ng mapagbibintangan. I am not really sure but I read it from somewhere that these big pharma companies can even afford to give extravagant graduation parties to Medical students. And costs like these are charged to the end consumers - si Juan. It may not be that huge but who knows what hidden costs they still charge (just like Meralco). Sad to see the reality but we're hopeless that those in power will ever change. That is, to give credit to the people who elected them and who provides for their salaries.
